Configure Chatbox

Chatbox is a lightweight desktop AI chat application available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Setup Steps

1. Download Chatbox

Visit: https://chatboxai.app/

2. Configure API Settings

1. Open Chatbox
2. Go to Settings
3. Select AI Provider → OpenAI API Compatible
4. Configure:

API Host	https://newtcode.cc
API Path	/v1/chat/completions
API Key	Your NewtCode API key
Model	claude-sonnet-4-20250514 (or any supported model)

3. Save and Test

Click Save, then send a test message to verify the connection.

TIP

Chatbox supports streaming output, so you'll see responses appear in real-time.
